1. Overview

This policy explains what personal data Klino collects, why, and your choices. It covers two groups: merchants (the businesses who sign up) and guests (their customers who join a loyalty program).

2. What we collect

From merchants:

  • your email address (used to sign in with a one-time code);
  • your business details — name, branch address, brand colour and logo you upload;
  • billing records for plans you purchase (order and payment references from Razorpay).

From guests who join a merchant's loyalty program:

  • a name and/or phone number or email, if the guest provides it to enroll;
  • loyalty activity — stamps earned, rewards issued and redeemed, and visit timestamps.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not store full card numbers — payments are handled by Razorpay.

3. How we use it

  • to run the loyalty program — issue stamps, unlock and verify rewards, and prevent fraud;
  • to show a merchant their own customer list and loyalty activity;
  • to sign merchants in and process plan payments;
  • to provide support and keep the Service secure and working.

4. Guest data belongs to the merchant

When a guest joins a business's loyalty program, that business is the controller of the guest's data and uses it to run their own loyalty offer. Klino processes this data on the merchant's behalf to provide the Service. Guests with questions about their data should contact the business they joined; we will assist that business in responding.

5. Sharing

We share data only with the service providers needed to run Klino — for example our hosting, database, and payment (Razorpay) providers — and only as needed to deliver the Service. We may disclose data if required by law.

6. Retention & security

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service and meet legal obligations. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it, including encrypted connections and access controls.

7. Your choices

  • Merchants can update their business profile from the dashboard and can request account deletion by emailing us.
  • Merchants on eligible plans can export their customer data from the dashboard.
  • To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, email support@klino.in.

8. Cookies

We use only the storage needed to keep you signed in and to make the Service work. We don't use third-party advertising trackers on the Service.

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service evolves. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the current version.
